Exciting times here at nDash! Yesterday, as you might have seen, we were accepted into MassChallenge Boston’s 2017 accelerator program. For the next four months, the founding team and I will be working out of a new Boston office. We’ll work alongside fellow startups and seasoned entrepreneurs. Considering that we were chosen from a pool of over 1,500 applicants, this is quite an honor for a young company like ours.
For those unfamiliar with MassChallenge:
MassChallenge is the most startup-friendly accelerator on the planet. No equity and not-for-profit, we are obsessed with helping entrepreneurs across any industry. We also reward the highest-impact startups through a competition to win a portion of several million dollars in equity-free cash awards. Through our global network of accelerators in Boston, the UK, Israel, Switzerland, and Mexico, and unrivaled access to our corporate partners, we can have a massive impact – driving growth and creating value the world over. To date, 1,211 MassChallenge alumni have raised over $2 billion in funding, generated approximately $900 million in revenue, and created over 65,000 total jobs.
The MassChallenge news adds to what has already been an amazing 2017.
We’ve had double-digit growth for seven consecutive months. That’s in terms of user sign-ups, completed assignments, accepted pitches, assignment revenue, and other key metrics. We have some great press. We’re also launching dozens of new features and securing some notable partnerships. Things are looking up!
So what do we hope to get out of the program? Our focus is going to revolve around strategy and scale. Thanks to you, we’ve proven the model. We’ve determined that most brands value quality over price when it comes to content. We’ve learned that the best content ideas often come from the minds of talented freelance writers. And we’ve realized that by making our platform completely transparent, we can connect brands and writers in a way that no other platform can match. Now the fun part begins.
We see MassChallenge as a way to accelerate (for lack of a better word) our growth trajectory.
We’ll be collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the startup world, looking for ways to add value, reach more people, and make more of an impact.
I’d like to end this short post with a sincere thank you to everyone who has played a part in our success thus far. Our employees, interns, and advisors. Our partners and vendors. And most important of all, our loyal customers and our talented community of writers. We’re looking forward to making nDash better for each and every one of you.
And last but not least, thanks to the MassChallenge organization. We’re grateful for the opportunity, and we’re eager to start!
